Reese Abbadessa
Chief Operating OfficerReese assisted in the establishment of Horizon Family Wealth Inc., a nationally registered firm with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in September 2021. With more than 15 years in the industry, she takes care of the team’s client service needs efficiently and effectively, maintaining a steady flow of communication. Reese also handles the accounting of the firm and works alongside the Chief Compliance Officer to maintain compliance with ever-changing SEC regulations.
Prior to joining Horizon Family Wealth, Reese was an integral part of the team with Blane Shea at Riverpoint Wealth Management from 2013 to 2021. She was also the office manager at Shea Financial Group, Inc., and took care of all communications with broker/dealer Raymond James Financial Services, Inc.
Reese graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 2006. She and her husband, Rob, have two daughters together, Eliana and Elesia. In her spare time, Reese enjoys baking, puzzles, and Wheel of Fortune.
